Academic Technology Lab: Profile

The ATL serves as a hub for faculty, Academic Technology Specialists and the rest of the campus academic community to facilitate the exchange and dissemination of technologies implemented on campus.

The ATL supports faculty use of computer and multimedia systems for teaching and learning. Support may include curriculum planning, technical instruction, software and hardware purchase recommendations, implementation of curricula and course evaluation.

Faculty and their student assistants can use ATL equipment to create instructional materials, including presentations, videos, DVDs, web sites, and courseware. The ATL has an audio recording and digitizing studio, digital video editing systems, analog video dubbing (also PAL/SECAM/NTSC conversions), flatbed scanners with document feeders and a slide scanner.
