Royalty-Free Media

Here is a small collection of free and pay-per-item media sites. We have attempted to only list sites that contain public-domain or royalty-free media (i.e. media that can be used in original and derivative works with few or no restrictions). http://search.creativecommons.org also provides a means to locate a lot of usable content in all of these media formats. However, please still check the individual licensing and copyright status of other people's work before using, even if they are listed on these pages!
